In the map below you will see surrounding your city a set of concentric rings numbered 1,2,3, ect, every encounter you fight or negotiate in ring 1 you will get 1 point for, in ring 2 , 2 points per encounter , ring 3 - 3 points and so on, fairly simple really
Now then, also on the map you will notice that map has various differant areas on it, the pictures below are how you would recognise all the differant goods
Basic Goods

Crafted Goods

Magical Goods
..................Elixir...................................Magic Dust......................................Gems
and most important is how to recognise, by just looking at the map what your own, or another persons goods are, this can be done by looking to the top of their city (north),that is 1, the other 2 are positioned diagonally down left and right (south-west, south-east)
